Details: Mother (mazā (マザー) is a video game developed by HAL Laboratory and Ape and published by Nintendo, released in Japan in 1989 on Famicom. The game was released in 2003 on Game Boy Advance in Japan, then on the Wii U Virtual Console in 2015 worldwide under the title EarthBound Beginnings before being re-released in 2022 on Nintendo Switch Online.
As Mother was first released exclusively in Japan, before coming out in Europe several years later, my editorial direction is based on the differences in information between these two versions, reflected in the French and Japanese text living on two columns of the grid while answering each other on certain double pages.
